Privacy Policy

Effective Date: December 5, 2025

1. Introduction

FixlyCode ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website located at fixlycode.com. We operate on a principle of data minimization: we do not collect personal data unless absolutely necessary.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

To provide complete transparency:

  • We do not require user registration or account creation.
  • We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
  • We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics services (like Google Analytics).
  • We do not store your payment information as our service is free.

3. Data Processing & Third Parties

While we do not store your data, the functionality of FixlyCode relies on Artificial Intelligence. When you submit code for analysis:

  • The code snippet is transmitted via an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our backend.
  • It is then forwarded to our AI providers: Google LLC (Gemini) and OpenRouter.
  • These providers process the data solely to generate a response. They generally do not use API data to train their models (subject to their respective Enterprise/API terms).

4. Local Storage Policy

FixlyCode utilizes your browser's LocalStorage to improve your experience. This data resides exclusively on your device.

  • Chat History: Your past conversations are saved locally so you don't lose them upon refreshing.
  • Preferences: Settings such as Theme (Dark/Light) and Language.

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser cache.

5. GDPR Compliance (EU Users)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. Since FixlyCode does not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no data for us to delete. You are in full control of your local data.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
